Cindy Nguyen

Community Health Worker- Ubuntu Program

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences, with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health Promotion, both from Yale University. Her research experience centers on integrating social determinants of health and implementation science across medical fields, and she has served as a Patient Navigator at the HAVEN Free Clinic in New Haven, Connecticut.

A Worcester native, Cindy returns at RISE, where she serves as a Community Health Worker for Ubuntu to support the communities that make up the city she calls home, helping individuals and families navigate social and health systems to meet their needs.

Cindy speaks English and Vietnamese.
